With the completion of the loading process, you will be able to view the selected files. Now, click the “Extract” option in the main toolbar. By clicking it, the process to extract repairable files from the corrupt BKF file will start.

The latest version 5.4 of the BKF repair software is enhanced with two advanced features of ‘Deep Scan’ and ‘Quick Scan’. With ‘Deep Scan’, you can make a thorough, detailed and complete search to extract the repairable files.

With the ongoing process to extract the repairable files, you will be asked to specify a location where the recovered files can be saved. Please see the illustrated screen below:

After selecting the appropriate location to save the recovered files and folders, click the “OK” button. The recovered files and folders will be saved to the selected location respectively.

Open Recovered Files: To open the recovered BKF files, go to the location mentioned at the time of saving the repaired files and folders. The recovered BKF files can be opened and used from the selected saved location.

Recover More Than 1 Backup File Easily and Quickly. If you need to repair another BKF file, then you must now follow the complete process again. You just have to go to the below shown screen and select the already recovered backup file from the left tree structure. By right clicking on it select the ‘close backup file’ option. With the close option selected, the backup file will be closed; after which, you can now easily “Load” another BKF file.

Partial Scan Feature: Another advanced unique feature of BKF Repair software is the ‘Partial Scan’ feature. This feature is designed significantly to recover comparatively a smaller amount of data from a large sized BKF file. The feature proves beneficial in scenarios when only a partial or small amount of data is required to be extracted and repaired. This feature is explained below:

With clicking the “Actions” options the drop down menu will open. Select the “Partial Scan” option. The following dialog box will open asking for entering the ‘Value’ required for partial scan.

The ‘Value’ asked to entered here refers to the percentage of data that will be extracted from the selected large sized BKF file. Putting simply, if 25 is entered as the ‘Value’ asked to enter, then the software takes it as 25% of the total data to be recovered from the large sized BKF file. The “Partial Scan” functionality recovers the desired valuable data and saves on time effectively.

At the completion of the “Partial Scan” process a preview is generated of the extracted files. The same is illustrated in the below screen.
